Yehudith Pascal - Sculptor

I was borne in Israel 1954, and today I live and works in the town

Creativity has blossomed within me for many years. During the years I worked has a teacher, I have implemented it in school projects. Only after my retirement, I realized it through sculpting and painting.
During the year of 2005 I started sculpting, on 2006 painting and on 2007 I was accepted as a member of Petach-Tikva's sculptors association. Later on I was accepted as a member of Ramat-Gan and Givataym's sculptors association and on the year of 2009 I was accepted as a member of Impact, the professional visual artists association, and UNESCO, United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.
Since 2006 I have participated in group exhibitions and on November 2007 I had my first individual exhibition. Ever since I have participated in many exhibitions all over the country.
The main motives that are repeated in all my creations are the female body, parity and motion. The sculptures combine realistic figures and abstract shapes, some are missing facial features. The sculptures casts are made of marble, polyester and bronze. The chromatic quality reflected in my bronze sculptures is created by combining various colors and surface processing with acids that create varied patinas. Also, the material properties of the polyester enable the creation of reliefs. Another method in which I specialized is sculpting with metal nets, for the creation of both sculptures and reliefs.
